Bradford Synchro

Below is a small sample of photographs created with Bradford's Synchronised Skating Academy.

These were created as part of a larger series to be released in 2024, a collaboration with fellow photographer Martine Hamilton Knight.

The collaboration tells the story of the team, named Malachite and the venue itself, Bradford's Ice Arena, built in 1966.

Group portraits reinforce and celebrate the synchro team’s embodiment of unity, friendship, community, and group achievement.

This is palpable when seeing them perform, rehearse and socialise.
