Self Esteem

We looked to push at the edges of social norms through acts of feminist rebellion, expressed in location, pose and styling. Photographed soon after Self Esteem's first album Compliments Please was released.

National Portrait Gallery acquired the fourth image in 2021. Now exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in Chanel Culture Fund's A Creative Constellation: Contemporary Women in the Arts. A limited number are available to purchase here:
